She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the same institution and later completed her PhD in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2017.
Her doctoral research, titled “An In Vitro Study on the Effect of Direct Current Application on Bacterial Adhesion on Titanium Alloy Surfaces,” focused on reducing bacterial infections associated with titanium alloys commonly used in dental implants. This work highlights her research-driven approach and strong scientific foundation in implant-related treatments.
Dr Oylun currently practices in private clinical settings, where she applies advanced surgical techniques within a patient-centred framework. Her clinical practice encompasses dental implant surgery, bone grafting, tooth extractions, and impacted wisdom tooth procedures. She also has experience in the surgical management of cysts and tumours and offers Botox treatments as part of her broader clinical services.
